About Simon
Swing Dance Teacher ยท Performer ยท Choreographer
Simon is an elegant, athletic, and rhythmical dancer passionate about swing dances for their rich history, culture, and ability to transmit joy. He took his first steps in jazz in Beijing, continuing his formation in the UK and Europe.
For over a decade, he's travelled internationally to perform, teach, and compete. His elegant and dynamic style reflects his fascination with self-expression and rhythm. His main passions are Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz, but he loves all swing dances and the rich culture of jazz. He holds titles from competitions including the International Lindy Hop Championships, the Savoy Cup, and the Korean Lindy Hop Championships amongst others.
Simon keeps developing his craft with deep respect for the culture it comes from. His passion and excitement for the music shine through whether he's teaching, performing, or competing.
